The Twist of Cinderella

The Original story is called "Cinderella" by Walt Disney pictures. This story has been edited for entertainment purposes only.

This is a story about a girl named Cinderella. She was once a kind girl that cared for the other, until her parents death that made her feel she has lost everything and had nothing left in the world. Her anger went towards her two kind step sisters. As years passed by, they were invited to the grand ball, the Prince was looking for his princess.

"O wow, Cinderella this is lovely" said one

"It’s gorgeous..." said the other.

                       

Both step sisters were holding on to the dress very tightly and recklessly fought over to hold on to the dress.

"If you don’t mind sister, I will hold on to it first." said one

"No. I will thank you very much."

 They were pulling and tugging on to the dress like a rope...

 "Stop it!" Cinderella shouted

...and ripped the dress apart.

The room was filled with silence; the step sisters were able to fill the anger and shock of Cinderella's reaction. Cinderella yelled and screamed and pushed the both sisters on to the ground.

"How dare you! My mother’s dress!" She shouted,

Her step mother ran up to Cinderella's room and shouted "Stop!"

Cinderella was just about to slap her sisters.

"What is going on here?" Step mother asked with a disappointing look on her face.

"They... They ripped my mother’s dress!" Cinderella cried with anger and sorrow.

The step mother was told what has happened and she came to a decision.

"Cinderella. I am grounding you from going to the ball."

"What? Come again?" Cinderella was shocked.

"This is not just about the actions you have made today but also all these years you been making your sisters do all your chores and threatening them. Yes, I’ve seen it all. We will put this all behind after the ball." Step mother stated very clearly.

The day of the loyal ball Cinderella was locked inside her room.

She was crying, screaming and shouting, thinking of her past when she had her parents.

Then. *poof* three fairies dresses in blue, green and pink came to help her to go to the ball. Cinderella was grateful. So grateful that she grabbed the three wands and put the fairies in to the cage and prepared herself for the loyal ball.

"O dear." the three fairies were worried, but did not panic.

They put a spell on her eyes, a spell so that what she sees as a beast will appear as a handsome prince.

"The wand cannot stay away from us for long. Only till midnight your free." warned the blue fairy

Cinderella head to the ball with the three wands, she planned a way to ruin the ball.

…

There was music everywhere, soft and quite music. People were dancing, eating and talking until the announcement.

“The Prince” said the announcer.

“O my…” said a lady.

“O dear…” said the other.

Rumours were true, he is a beast, and however, people were not afraid.

Prince was looking for his true love, the first kiss, to break his curse and live happily ever after.

To the left to the right he was looking over the ball but yet he found his love.

“O no!” a women screamed.

“HAHAHA having fun were you? Without me? How rude.” Cinderella laughed with an evil voice.

She has frozen a man that was in her way of the entrance.

As the beast turned around to see her and fell in love. He loved how gorgeous she was, the eyes, nose, mouth, everything. He did not see the evil in her.

The step sisters tried to stop her, but it made her even angrier, she made her two sisters in to a frog. She laughed away and kept freezing people until it came around to the beast. Her eyes wide opened, step by step went closer to him.

“Who… are you?” asked Cinderella.

She dropped her three wands, and those wands disappeared.

They got closer together and looked in to each other’s eyes. They felt like they were reading off each other’s mind.

Until then,

“Guards!! Take her away to the dungeon!” said the King.

Cinderella was grabbed by the wrist, she tried to get away, and she wanted to be close to the beast.

“No! Father stop this non-sense!” said the Prince.

“Non-sense? How can this be a non-sense?” asked the King with an angry voice.

“Father I love her…” He confessed and ran up to kiss Cinderella.

Lights came out of nowhere; the Prince was changing back one by one. Cinderella could only then see the beast, but she was not surprised, she was happier than ever.

As Prince changed back to his full self, everyone celebrated.

Music got louder, people laughed and danced.

“We shall forget about the past, and look forward to the future. I announce Cinderella as my son’s wife, and I am truly happy for both of you. Cheers!” said the King.

“Thank you, your highness. We will live happily ever after” she replied with the tears of joy and kissed the Prince.

Same Sex Marriage. Why Argue? I Accept.

New Zealand has passed down 'The Same Sex Marriage' law. It is a big change to the country or to a city especially if there are people who disagreed to this argument. Although it has already been accepted it has been clear that there are still arguments and disapproval's. People do have different argumentation and perspectives but I would like to prove that there are no reasons to argue about 'the Same Sex Marriage'.

PAST AND PRESENT

Marriage is two people who get together and dedicate their lives to each other. Marriage was seen as men and women together rather than the 'Same Sex Marriage' as the Marriage Act defined men and women. Everyone believed marriage was between women and men because of the past generations and religions. Such as Christians, they disapprove strongly to the 'Same Sex Marriage'. However, these days some countries and cities are forgetting about the past and placed a new law with 'the Same Sex Marriage', therefore now in New Zealand "The new statutory definition of marriage in the Marriage Act defines marriage as "the union of two people, regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity."" (Scoop 2013)

SUPPORTERS  

New Zealand has passed down the law of 'Same Sex Marriage' on the 19th of August 2013 and the same sex couple's were and finally able to announce themselves wife and wife or husband and husband. Many people are supportive. One of the Labour MP's, Ms Wall, has witnessed the first 'Same sex marriage' and quoted "All the theory of Parliament now comes to fruition today and we can put in practise the fact that any two people, regardless of their sex, sexual orientation or gender identity can get a marriage license and so that's what we are going to be celebrating today."(TVNZ 2013) It is not just NZ political members that support 'Same Sex Marriage' But also Australian's Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has announced that he supports marriage equally. (GayNZ 2013)

HUMAN RIGHTS ACT
I would also like to argue that as under the Human Rights Act 1993 of "The primary functions of the Commission are (a) to advocate and promote respect for, and an understanding and appreciation of, human rights in New Zealand society; and (b) to encourage the maintenance and development of harmonious relations between individuals and among the diverse groups in New Zealand society." (HRA 1993 No.82) People have their own rights with the Human Rights Act and also focusing on (a) understanding others. It's not anybody's opinions or decisions to make for someone; (b) to create good relation between others. Hence, people should not be arguing or disapproving others marriage. They have their rights to marry someone they like, and I believe the 'Same Sex Marriage' should of been legal when Human Rights Act was issued because each and everyone would have their own rights.

RELIGION

Could people over-react or misunderstand the 'Same Sex Marriage'? "While the Bible does address homosexuality, it does not explicitly mention gay arriage/ same- sex marriage... The Bible alone, however, does not have to be used to demonstrate this understanding of marriage... History argues against gay marriage."(Got Questions.org) It has been written in the Bible that it addresses homosexuality. I believe that the people could be misinterpreting the idea. I also argue that, because the Bible is not clear about the gay marriage it needs to be supported by history; history is the past and people need to stop thinking about the past and think of the things that would be positive for the present and the future.

  I argue to say that people should make their own decisions. Everyone has their own rights to act against their own will instead of using history as their back up. I am not against the Bible or the religion, but have my own views to it. People are arguing about the past and not considering the present or the future.There is always time for a change and time to adapt.

Cinderella
It is a Disney film, full of fantasy. This is a story of a beautiful girl who lost her parents and live with her stepmother and stepsisters. "The stepmother and her daughters forced the first daughter into servitude, where she was made to work day and night in menial chores." The use of fairy godmother, which is any children's dream to have, that gave her a wish come true of going to the ball. This is a very magical and exciting story that I would want as main base of my fan fiction.

Snow White
This story which has very similar beginning as Cinderella, which I think that can crossover well with. She is a princess that also has beautiful looks and lost her parents. She has a witch for her stepmother that curses her to fall asleep when she eats a poison apple, this was because "the Queen's magic mirror confirms Snow White as being the "fairest of them all"". However, this time it is not the fairy godmother that protects her from the evil, it is the 7 dwarfs. This is quite different to any other Disney characters because most stories use a magical being to help a character.

Sleeping Beauty
The main for this story is a princess, she was cursed by a witch when she was a baby. She was destined to fall asleep when she pricks her finger on a spinning wheel. She has 3 protectors, fairies that blessed her on her birthday. She was taken away by the fairies so that the witch would not find her. "As the years pass, Maleficent rages to her bestial minions the sheer impossibility of how the princess has managed to evade her for so many years. Her bumbling guards reveal that they had been looking for a baby the whole time." This film has lots of characters with different attitude and style that make this story have something different to the other Disney movies that I enjoy about.

Little Mermaid
This is a very different story compared to others. It does have a happy ending and has troubles in the middle, however, the story of the little mermaid is a whole new story. Every story has an evil one, that person/being wants something from others that are precious. This witch, which I really like the idea of, an Octopus wanted the trident. The trident belong to the King of the ocean, aka the Little mermaids father. I really like the idea of the sea creatures which I hope to use for my fan fiction.

Beauty and the Beast
I like this Disney story because this time it is not a women character that is cursed by a witch, or have a stepmother that makes her do all the chores, it was a young man who was cursed. He had to find his true love just like any other Disney stories."When the Beast dies, Belle professes her love for him, breaking the spell as the rose's last petal falls. The Beast comes back to life, his human form restored. As he and Belle kiss, the castle and its inhabitants return to their previous states as well. Belle and the prince dance in the ballroom with her father and the humanized servants happily watching."
